No respite: Five more children die in Thar

HYDERABAD: Five more children died in drought-hit Tharparkar on Sunday taking the number of deaths blamed on malnutrition to 91 in December. Molu Thakur’s newborn son passed away at Mithi Civil Hospital, Khadim Khoso’s five-day-old baby and two-week-old Haneef Loond died in Kharak village, Kanji Bheel’s baby died in Tarhyar village and 16-year-old Motu Bheel passed away in Kapusar village.
