Twitter alert: Not enough votes to repeal blasphemy law

Most of the ruling party’s twitterati representation have expressed their views on the Aasia bibi case.

Twitterati representation of the ruling party, including Ambassador Hussain Haqqani, Governor Punjab Salman Taseer and Farahnaz Ispahani expressed their views on the Aasia Bibi case as well as on repealing the blasphemy laws.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik  in his most recent tweet, congratulated the Pakistani Women’s cricket team for their victory at the Asian Games, while Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif expressed his admiration for a certain museum in Faisalabad calling it a ‘little gem.’

For those asking why blasphemy law is not being repealed, simple answer is there aren't enough votes for that in parliament.
