Canada gave Pakistan a tough time, but the latter, who had more experience on their side, ensured they maintained a 100% record in the event. Earlier, Pakistan beat Denmark and England in their first two matches and will now take on Iran in the last four on Thursday at the Shaheed Bachan Singh Kabaddi Stadium.
Before the semi-final clash, Pakistan will play its remaining group matches against Sweden (Tuesday) and then Argentina (on December 17).
Meanwhile, Pakistan women have also booked their place in the semi-finals against arch-rival India on Thursday as well.
