Development work: CDA to build boundary wall around Sector D-12

CDA Chairman reviewed progress on installation of traffic and street signboards in Sector D-12.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will build a boundary wall around Sector D-12 in order to prevent encroachment on the land. 


CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal reviewed progress on installation of traffic and street signboards in Sector D-12 at a meeting the other day.


Construction of precast boundary wall between sectors D-12 and D-13 and progress of other development work in Sector D-12 were also discussed at the meeting.


The CDA chairman was told that a tender for construction of boundary wall had already been floated in national press.


The meeting was further informed that the construction of 6,600 ft long and 6 ft high precast boundary wall would cost approximately Rs10 million.


The construction work on the boundary wall would start soon after the opening of tender and completion of other formalities.


Afzal directed the engineering wing of the authority to accelerate the pace of development work in Sector D-12 to ensure its completion within the stipulated time.
