The minister expressed these views on Saturday during an open katcheri he held in Dhamial, where senior Rawalpindi police officials were also present before a large number of citizens. The minister stated that it is the prime duty of police to protect the masses and provide them with justice. He asked complainants to write to him directly if the police were bothering them or failing to address crime.
Nisar also visited several parts of NA-52 and NA-53 and addressed public rallies in which he announced a numbers of development projects including building degree colleges for girls and boys in Kashmir Colony, Dhamial. He also allocated Rs6.5 million for the renovation of the Dhamial-Kalyal road.
Addressing a public gathering at Dhamial, the minister said the PML-N was serving the masses round-the-clock and the government has launched a number of development schemes in the country. The minister claimed that Imran Khan wanted to destroy the country by launching protests and shutting down cities, while “we go in the public to get votes on the basis of work and developments schemes,” he said.
Later, the minister also laid the foundation stone of a two-way road from Chakri Bus Terminal to Ganda Kas, Kambrial. Similarly, the minister allocated funds for the construction of a boundary wall around Government Boys High School, Gangwala and the renovation of streets and roads in UC Kohlian Hameed.

Pakistan is the one of the only countries in the 21st Century to give responsibility of making roads, setting up a colleges, giving gas or electricity connections, drainage lines to MNA's and Federal Ministers. Its just like if Secretary of State visits a small town in Arkansas and talks about road renovations, building sewage lines etc. That will be hilarious thing to see. That is the only reason why these status quo parties wants to keep the population illiterate so that they don't demand real performance from the ruling elite. If Pakistan wants to join the developing countries, they will have to support true leader with great visionary qualities who will invest in human development, education, health and social development. Once these important areas shows improvements, then you can build motorways and metro bus.
