Nobel conspiracy: Malala is West’s precious weapon, says TTP

TTP’s statement comes just a day after Malala received the world’s prestigious honour

ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Thursday condemned the award of Nobel Peace Prize to Malala Yousafzai and dubbed her a “precious weapon for the Western civilisation”. The TTP’s statement came just a day after Malala received the world’s prestigious honour at a ceremony in Oslo for her services to promote girls education globally. “Malala is a precious weapon in the war of civilisation. As the West has faced a defeat in the Middle East and the whole world, it is now using Nobel Peace Prize and other such awards as a weapon. But Muslim religious society will not tolerate this blasphemy,” the Taliban categorically said in its formal reaction to Malala’s achievement.
