NOWSHERA: The head of an eight-member World Food Programme delegation, Carl Paulsson, on Wednesday said all possible steps would be taken for the welfare of displaced people. During the eight-member World Food Programme (WFP) delegation’s visit to Jalozai camp for displaced people, Paulsson added an initiative would be taken to ensure that quality food items are provided to residents of Jalozai camp. The delegation included representatives from Sri Lanka, France, Germany, Norway and Australia. They were warmly welcomed by Provincial Disaster Management Authority officials and visited an under-construction warehouse and food distribution point of the WFP. PDMA chief coordinator Waseem Khattak gave a detailed briefing to the delegates about people living in the camp and their problems.
