In an ongoing drive against narcotics smuggling, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claimed to have seized a large cache of narcotics during a raid at the National Highway near Steel Town on Monday.
According to an ANF spokesperson, 20 kilogrammes of hashish was found in the raid conducted at a hideout after a tip-off. He said that the drug peddlers managed to escape.
Meanwhile, a suspected criminal was killed in Landhi. Police officials said that the two suspects were trying to loot shopowner Rehman, but he resisted, shooting and killing one of the suspects with his own licensed pistol.
