Upon searching on Twitter for the man declared as one of the five most-wanted terrorists in the world, a message shows up, stating: "The profile you are trying to view has been suspended."
The social networking site maintains the right to suspend accounts for violation of Twitter Rules or even for investigation if it is suspected that an account has been hacked.
However, it is not yet clear why Saeed’s account was suspended and whether he has appealed yet or not.
The JuD is featured on an American rogue's list with a bounty of $10 million dollars on his head.
In 2009, the United Nations declared his group a terrorist outfit and placed sanctions on it.
India has long alleged the JuD chief was the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks in 2008 which left at least 166 dead.

Where is freedom of speech on Twitter.. There is no freedom of speech if you talk against Israel and American puppets, its called hate speech. I am not supporter of anyone but I am sick of these double standards.
@Usman: 'In 2009, the United Nations declared his group a terrorist outfit and placed sanctions on it.' because India appealed to UN and placed before it the evidence of Pakistani involvement.
@Saad:
The USA offered a reward to anyone who could provide evidence that Saeed was tied to the Mumbai massacre .. so capturing him won't make you rich.
....and the Lal Masjid ' brigade ' still rule supreme.
The Mumbai attacks which later noted be an inside job of JOB of India???? ET should really consider pasting news on its website..
Promotion of hatred and terrorism against those that don't agree with his beliefs would be a good guess.
Many Indians complained. There is one bengali girl who was leading the campaign to get him off twitter.
Either Pakistan doesn't understand the rest of the world, or the rest of the world doesn't understand islam.
'one of the five most-wanted terrorists in the world'. And COAS says they will take out all terrorists.
"...the man declared as one of the five most-wanted terrorists in the world..." And it is still unclear why the account was suspended??
"However, it is not yet clear why Saeed’s account was suspended and whether he has appealed yet or not."
"Often accused of spewing ‘hate speech’ against Israel and India, Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed’s account on social networking site Twitter was suspended on Monday."
You answered your own question... Just because Pakistan does not muzzle this terrorist doesn't mean the rest of the world isn't going to...
Pakistan was also surprised when the abbottabad raid happened.
I will try capturing him. Please tell me step by instructions to claim bounty.
