Inferno: Man injured as fire breaks out in shop

LAHORE: A man sustained serious injuries late on Saturday after a fire broke out at a shop in Baghbanpura. According to police, the fire erupted due to short circuiting. “Imran, 20, who was sleeping in the shop sustained serious burns,” they said. He was taken to hospital, where doctors treating him said his condition was critical. The fire also destroyed material worth hundreds of thousands of rupees,” they said. Rescue 1122 and Fire Brigade teams put out the fire.
