London conference

Letter December 08, 2014
It is hoped that the govt will continue voicing unequivocally Pakistan’s regional concerns at international forums.

LAHORE: In the recently held London Conference on Afghanistan, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while emphatically enunciating Pakistan’s firm resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism from our region, urged the world to show long-term dedicated support for war-torn Afghanistan.

Pakistan has always stood for a peaceful, stable and progressive regional political scenario and is working towards achieving it. The prime minister rightly upheld that the world and particularly Pakistan and Afghanistan need to join hands for rehabilitation of civic life, political reforms and elimination of all types of corruption in the war-torn areas of Afghanistan. It is hoped that the government will continue voicing unequivocally Pakistan’s regional concerns at international forums.
