ISLAMABAD: The Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has dubbed Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid ‘a big lair’. Addressing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s sit-in in Islamabad on Friday, he stated that Pervaiz Rashid has challenged him by claiming he had said so many things which were not true. Pointing directly to the federal information minister, AML chief said he still stood by what he claimed, saying, “When Pervaiz Rashid had a meeting in the Convention Centre there were officials from the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI). He further claimed: “If it is proved that they (ISI and MI) were not there then I will stop coming to the PTI’s sit-in and quit politics.” Lambasting the government, Sheikh Rasheed also said: “You people are big liars. I am not scolding you but telling the truth.”
