Students take to roads: Protest against murder of principal
The procession was culminated outside the Gwadar Press Club

Students took out a procession in the port city of Gwadar on Friday to protest the targeted killing of educator Zahid Askani. The students from the Oasis School and other educational institutes marched through different streets and roads of Gwadar city demanding immediate arrest of perpetrator of the crime. Zahid Askani, principal of private Oasis school, was shot dead near the school on Friday. The protesting students were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans such as “our education is being destroyed by criminals.” The procession was culminated outside the Gwadar Press Club. The students said some elements want create chaos in the Gwadar where people have been living a peaceful life for decades.
