Jeweller shot injured

The police registered a case but no arrests were made.

A jeweller was shot and injured by robbers in RA Bazaar, said a media report on Friday.


Muhammad Mansha was travelling in his car from Sarafa Bazaar to Tench Bhatta carrying gold ornaments when four armed robbers intercepted him at RA Bazaar and attempted to snatch the jewellery bag from him. They opened fire at him hitting him in the leg when he resisted.

The robbers could not snatch the jewellery bag. The injured was taken to DHQ Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable. The police registered a case but no arrests were made.
