KARACHI:

Microsoft Pakistan launched the Lumia 535 dual SIM mobile phone at an event held in a local hotel in Karachi, aiming to target the younger lot as its potential audience.

Microsoft Devices Pakistan Communications Manager Kamran Masood Niazi said the phone offers the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update.

“Many people, especially the younger tech-involved audiences, aspire to own the latest flagship smartphone, but often don’t have the means to get it,” said Niazi. “With access to the best services, including the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update, Lumia Denim, Lumia 535 Dual SIM helps people do more of what they want, for less.”

The Lumia 535 Dual SIM is priced at Rs14,250 and offers consumers a wide-angle 5 mega pixel front- and rear-facing camera and a five-inch display. Additionally, the new model offers cloud services, making data sharing easier and faster.

Bundled with Cloud Azure, and Office 365 suite as in other markets, Cloud, and Office 365 suite, and several other services on Cloud are given free to lure Microsoft. At the panic time when Microsoft is about to Launch Windows 10, would this hardware be upgradeable and would Windows 10 be no charge. Pakistan is a good market, and loyal to Microsoft brand, Microsoft should have a light hand on Pakistani consumers.
