Oil slump: Produce prices witness decrease
Shopkeepers and vendors claimed considerable decrease in the prices
ISLAMABAD:
Vegetable and fruit prices have decreased in the federal capital following cut in petroleum prices. Shopkeepers and vendors claimed considerable decrease in the prices. Tomato price has come down to Rs60 from Rs80 per kilogramme in the retail market. Similarly, prices of tomato, onion, cabbage, carrot, peas have also come down. The public, however, complained that many shopkeepers were selling the fruit at previous rates.
