
A brilliant all-round performance by captain Hassan Khan led Beaconhouse Public School North Nazimabad to a six-wicket win over Fahad Academy in the final of the HBL Inter-School cricket tournament at the National Stadium of Karachi.
Batting first, Fahad Academy were restricted to 195, as Hassan claimed three wickets and then struck a brilliant 134 off 79 balls while batting, to help Beaconhouse reach the target in 26.4 overs.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan was the guest of honour at the ceremony and gave away the trophies and announced that the outstanding performers in the tournament, named by the selectors, will be trained by the PCB for future international tours.
