In court: Brother remanded to jail for 14 days in sisters’ killing case

The father of the accused registered a case against him

SUKKUR: An accused, Abdul Qadir Jamali, who allegedly gunned down his two sisters in Dadu on Monday evening, was sent to jail for 14 days under physical remand.

The Dadu police had registered an FIR against him on Tuesday night. Qadir’s father, Abdul Karim Jamali, went to A-Section police station, Dadu, and filed a case against his son for killing his daughters, Nadia and Arbab Khatoon. In his statement, the complainant said that his daughter, Nadia, had left her husband’s house over some domestic problems. She was brought back home with the help of influential people of the community. Qadir brought her back and killed her and the other sister, Arbab, as she was trying to save Nadia. An FIR No 349/2014 under sections 302 and 504 of the Criminal Procedure Code has been registered against the accused, who was later arrested by the police.



Head constable Ali Asghar Panhwar, while confirming the arrest of Qadir, said that the accused was produced before the court of the second civil judge and judicial magistrate, Dadu, who remanded him to jail custody for 14 days.
