Accountability: NAB arrests two men
Both accused are in judicial custody
KARACHI:
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sindh, has arrested two men accused of misappropriation of funds worth Rs16.2 million. The former senior vice-president of the National Investment Trust, Mirza Sanaullah Baig, and a former branch manager of the Crescent Commercial Bank (currently known as Samba Bank), Kamran Zafar, were taken into custody in Karachi. A NAB spokesperson said that the accused, Baig, processed fake applications on which two income distribution warrants (IDWs) were issued. Both accused are in judicial custody.
