Motive unknown: House blown up in Jamrud

JAMRUD: A house was destroyed in a high-intensity bomb blast in Wazir Dhand, Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency on Saturday night. According to Irshad Mohmand, a police official, the bomb was planted by unidentified militants near the main gate. The house belonged to Qalandar Shah, a tribesman. The boundary wall and gate were destroyed in the explosion, added Mohmand. No casualties were reported. The impact of the blast triggered panic and fear among the residents of Wazir Dhand. Shah told the official he had no enmity with anyone.
