JUI-F provincial chief Maulana Gul Nasseb Khan and Senator Ghulam Ali also criticised the government and law enforcement agencies for failing to protect their leader.

The motorway remained closed till 4pm, forcing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf' workers (PTI) in Charsadda to use the GT Road to move towards Islamabad.

The PTI rally led by PTI's general secretary in Peshawar, Fazal Muhammad Khan, began from Farooq Azam square in Charsadda and took off for Islamabad via GT road Nowshehra.

PTI leader Fazal Muhammad Khan saud about 200 vehicles were heading to Islamabad to overthrow the PML-N-led government and bring change in the country.

PTI workers from Mohmand led by Sajid Mohmand and Daud Mohmand also joined the chief minister’s rally in Peshawar.

JUI-F leader blames agencies for Soomro’s killing

JUI-F provincial chief Maulana Gul Nasseb Khan blamed security and intelligence agencies for the target killing of Soomro.

"The killing will make the party stronger than before and not weak," said Maulana Khan.

“..How can we remain silent when our leader was gunned down,” he said, adding that the JUI-F should not be criticised for protesting.

He also censured the PTI-led provincial government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, saying it must work for the welfare of the people in K-P instead of staging sit-ins.

Regarding the clash between PTI and JUI-F workers in Karak, Khan said some forces wanted both the parties to fight, and appealed the workers to stay calm.
