Khosa is due to meet with PML-N leader Syed Ghaus Ali Shah on Sunday, the latter’s spokesperson confirmed.
The spokesperson told The Express Tribune that the two would attempt to reach out to those PML-N members who had become disillusioned with the party’s central leadership and include them in a new party under the banner of Jinnah’s Muslim League.
Khosa, who had been served a show-cause notice during a press conference in Punjab last month, has denied reports of leading a forward block within the party.
On November 25, senior PML-N members, including Shah, Jatoi, Dr Arbab Ghullam Rahim, and former Sindh Assembly speaker Illahi Bukhsh Soomro along with some other noted figures had announced plans to make an alliance.
Earlier, sources had claimed that former office bearer of PML-N and senior politician Liaqat Ali Jatoi had invited Khosa to expand their alliance to the national level. However, party sources denied it.
During a press conference, Shah said that the party leaders were disappointed with PML-N leadership since they did not give Sindh due respect.

The PML Sindh Chapter has never been given any importance or position in the PML headed by Punjab, apparently given the large size and majority of workers. Hence, it is better that PML Sindh Chapter should unite under one-flag hoisted by PML(F). This way, they will get collective strength and voice to be heard in the ranks and files of PML at Pakistan level, otherwise, individually PML leaders from Sindh will achieve neither respect nor any important position in the PML. It is advisable that Mr. Khosa, who has remained staunch support of Nawaz Sharif, should also join PML(F) instead of making any other forward block. Kosa should consider Pir Sibghatullah as a leader of his new home in Muslim League.
