During an election tribunal hearing earlier today (Saturday), the judge requested Imran to present witnesses for alleged rigging in NA-122.
More than 15 witnesses were presented today and their statements are being heard along with their evidence.
Earlier this year, the Election Commission of Pakistan had rejected the PTI chairman's request to recount votes for NA-122 in Lahore.

If Imran Khan fails to provide proof,he should be put in jail and his request for recount quashed. We want to see tangible proofs.
@Shireen: Technicalities technicalities; In past and perhaps again in coming days, on these technicalities boots ruled the Pakistan. For a democratic setup to survive, they need to rule by moral force and these technicalities are not satisfactory. They should go for recount else a big segment of society will not accept the results.
@ranjha no didn't get it. For recount the vote has to be challenged on day of election or 24 hours. To recount but alleging rigging you need proof that election was rigged. But hey PTI will get its way because otherwise they will harras and disgrace the judge. So nope didn't get your point. You can just recount any seat upon your wishes. Read the code of conduct and law for elections.
@Shireen:
Einstein, this is a recount. No proof is required. You just recount the damn votes and see how many are real. Got it?
Election commission is just buying time >18 Months have gone by Election Commission is sleeting over vote verification .Surpeme Court is quite .What a shame ,
Guys read last para...EC had earlier this year rejected PTI / IK re-count of NA-122 ( this is 1 of 4 constituencies which IK demanded re-count )....so, what made them changed their mind ? because IK was right....if Mr Ayaz NA speaker was so confident of his victory, why was he hiding behind a stay order ? why was this not done before, it would have avoided the mess we are in TODAY....any taker from PML N side ?
I was there, when the court asked the 15 witnesses for proofs they said they don't have any. Then the court asked if the filed any complaint or proof at the time the case was registered, they said no. IK told media that he would not give proof to media but only to the courts, even in courts he didn't submit it. Pti wants all verdicts in their favour, otherwise they will disgrace you. And no one other than pti has the right to get verdicts in their favour, irrespective of fair or not.
