On November 26, police recovered these girls from the house and sent them to a shelter home. Originally from Bajaur Agency, the girls reportedly went missing from Hameeda Bibi’s madrassa on Jamshed Road near Guru Mandir.
Police presented Hameeda and two of her accomplices before the court today seeking their one-day remand, however, were told that since the suspects were accused of a bailable offense, their remand cannot be granted.
The counsel of the suspects then requested for their bail which was accepted against payment of surety bonds. Hameeda was directed to pay Rs50,000 while the accomplices were told to pay Rs0.1 million each.
The hearing of this case was adjourned till December 10.
Hameeda owned the madrassa and ran it like a boarding school where they girls used to live. She had been running the unregistered madrassa from home for years.

36 innocent souls bought from the parents in Bajur? Ms Hameeda, is she married? what about her husband or parents/other family members? This is Pakistan and not India, and PMLN runs the federal government. A lot of questions which need answers....NOW.
First it was 26 girls then it became 30 then 33 and now it is 36. What is the correct number and why it keeps on increasing every day?
The parents keep producing children like rabbits and just abandon their children if they are girls. They want only male child. The parents should be questioned intensively to find out if they just sent their girls for free education or sold them off? There should be thousands and thousands of madrassas like these. It should also be investigated that if these madrassas send the children back to their homes after they complete their studies there and ultimately what happens to such girls. What sorts of courts are these that grants bail to the accused when if involves investigation of the lives of so many little and innocent girls? The bail amount is also paltry. The accused will vanish and important evidence and information will also not be unearthed.
How is kidnapping a bailable offence?
Little girls are involved.......this should certainly be a non-bailable of fence. Just because a madrasah was involved the Justice system simply buckled.
This Judge should be included in the investigation.
