KARACHI:

Speakers at a conference on Thursday said Pakistan has immense potential and resources that can turn it into a developed country. People cannot harness national resources because of a lack of professional approach, poor law and order situation and other structural problems, they said while taking part in the CEO Summit Asia 2014.

In his short address, Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan said a clear vision and sense of ownership bring up good leaders and help build great institutions.

“A clear vision and sense of ownership not only brings up good leaders but helps build great institutions as well,” said Khan, adding that institutions were beyond individuals leading the institutions, and true leadership was vital to the entire socioeconomic growth of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, event organiser Ijaz Nisar highlighted the importance of local success stories.
