Clashing clans: Man, wife killed for tying the knot

SUKKUR: A young man and his wife, Raheem Bux alias Raheem Bhatti and Sanam Khoso, were killed for marrying against their families' wishes. The man's elder brother, Gul Hassan Bhatti, was also injured. Unidentified men raided Murtaza Jaffery village early morning situated within the jurisdiction of the Golo Daro police. They barged into Bhatti's house and fired at them. Garhi Yasin-based journalists said that the reason of the killings was a dispute between the Bhatti and Khoso tribes. The deceased man and his wife belonged to the two tribes, respectively. A case has yet to be registered.
