This decision was made during a meeting with Minister for Excise and Taxation Jamshiduddin in Nowshehra on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Khattak addressed MNA Imran Khattak, MPAs Qurban Ali Khan, Idrees Khattak, Mian Khaliqur Rahman and former member of assembly Liaqat Khattak. PTI workers from Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda and Peshawar were directed to assemble in Nowshera from where the CM would lead them to Islamabad.
Later, speaking at a PTI workers’ convention, Khattak told the federal government to not create hurdles for the PTI rally or else face dire consequences. He said PTI was determined to continue the war against corruption, malpractices, rigging and other irregularities. He urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign as he came into power through poll rigging.
Earlier, speakers expressed their satisfaction at Khattak’s interest in the development of his own district.
