Patwari Ghulam Dastageer was abducted from Tank bus stop, a police official told The Express Tribune. No organisation has claimed responsibility for the two incidents. Police have registered separate cases and investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, two officials of Frontier Works Organization (FWO) were allegedly abducted from Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency late Monday night.
Levies official Swalzar Khan said two FWO officials, Jalat Khan and Kamran, went missing on Monday evening. They were returning home from work in Torkham when they were abducted.
Their families reported the absence after which levies officials launched a search operation, which was expanded to Torkham and surrounding areas in the morning. However, the whereabouts of the officials are yet to be known. No arrests were made till the filing of this report and the operation is still under way.
