Provocative speech: Sessions judge orders registration of case against Sheikh Rasheed

NANKANA SAHIB: A district and sessions judge in Nankana Sahib ordered registration of a case against Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed for his "provocative speech" during a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf rally, Express News reported on Monday.

On November 12, Rasheed had allegedly made provocative statements during the rally held in Nankana Sahib.

Judge Rana Nisar issued the order on a petition filed by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) youth wing president.

As per the court directives, the case will be registered under the Anti-Terrorist Act.

Below is the video of Rasheed addressing PTI rally in Nankana Sahib.

Javeed | 9 years ago | Reply History repeats itself, if you are alone and weak all law books could be thrown on to. On what basis Honorable Judge order registration of a case against Mr. S. Rasheed? Seems like judges are afraid to issue such orders against IK, Qadi and likewise, but they selected Mr. S. Rasheed. Justice or its just another joke.

The provocative speeches of younger brother Shahbaz against the then President is ignored. The justice system is controlled by PML N.
