A number of pamphlets calling for imposition of Islamic law were distributed in Mamoond area of Bajaur Agency, raising fears about the resurgence of militant groups in the area.
Despite denial from official quarters, the pamphlets allegedly circulated late Saturday evening, were issued from Kunar province of Afghanistan, where Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Chief Mullah Fazaullah is reportedly hiding along with his fighters.
In its pamphlets, the militant group reaffirmed calls to impose Sharia in Bajaur Agency and to prohibit women from appearing in public places. It also threatens to behead all those who oppose the law.
Through the material, distributed in specific places, the band of fighters also urged tribesmen to disassociate themselves from the so-called peace lashkars, warning them of consequences.
Contradicting reports about emergence of the pamphlets in the area, an official claimed that there was no evidence regarding them.

@ Anon and Sharma
You guys have done well in creating terror, violence and hatred in the name of Islam and Sharia by funding and brainwashing millitants. Now its time to dispose off your beloved trash investment.
Why there should be panic.....people should be happy about it.
Why should there be panic in case one group insists to follow Sharia law strictly. Pakistan is an Islamic state and Islamic law ( Sharia) should be the obvious choice of Public at large. Either there is difference of opinion to define Sharia in all aspects and is interpreted accordingly.
