The track was damaged after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion on Thursday evening, derailing Akbar Bugti Express's engine and eight bogies in addition to injuring one person.
According to Pakistan Railway (PR) officials, after repair work on the track was completed, passenger trains from other parts of the country started to arrive at Quetta early hours of Saturday while trains for Punjab and Sindh were moving out of the Quetta railway station.
The banned Baloch United Army (UBA) spokesperson had claimed the responsibility for targeting the Akbar Bugti Express.
