MITHI: Yet another child has succumbed to the Tharparkar tragedy, taking the death toll to 104 in 53 days, Express News reported Saturday.

Ten-year old Ali was the second of two children who died today in Mithi.

The drought has claimed nearly 300 lives this year. An alarming number of children are suffering from pneumonia or diarrhoea due to a dangerous mix of drought, poverty and poor health infrastructure.
