American reality TV start Kim Kardashian, who was scheduled to make an appearance on Indian TV show Bigg Boss, has had to cancel her trip to India due to visa issues, according to BBC.

Despite visa issues being cited as the reason behind the cancellation of her trip, those organising Kim’s visit “refused to disclose the exact reason behind the cancellation”.

Bigg Boss, which has a massive fan following in India, is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan on the Colours channel, and is India’s version of Big Brother.

Kim, in a recent statement, had said, “Namaste India (Hello India) main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon India (I, Kim Kardashian am coming to India) Bigg Boss ke ghar mein (at the Bigg Boss’s house)”.

The reality TV star was said to be excited to visit India and stay in the Bigg Boss house.

According to the Colours channel, she would appear as a “guest to interact with the contestants” on the show whose eight season began in October.
