Dar will replace the incumbent NAB PGA KK Agha when his term expires on Friday.
Additionally, the President also approved appointments for four vacant seats on the management board of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). Among those appointed are two government members and two non-government members.
The government members include the secretary, additional secretary of Finance Division and secretary, additional secretary, Economic Affairs Division.
Non-government appointments include Muhammad Yawar Irfan Khan and Dr Ali Cheema.
Further, the President also approved appointment of Mian Abdul Rauf, as Advocate General (ICT) and establishment of the Office of the Advocate General of ICT.
Earlier this month, Major-General (retd) Niaz Muhammad Khan Khattak was appointed by the President as the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) chairman.
Additionally, the President also approved the appointment of Akhlaq Ahmed Tarar (retired BS-22 officer of Secretariat Group) and Mazhar Ali Khan (BS-22 officer Secretariat Group) as members of the body.
The President further approved the appointment of Liaqat Ali Shah Hamdani as the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) of FPSC.
