Model Town Violence: ‘JIT in accordance with law’
Sanaullah rejected Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri’s allegation that Dr Tauqeer had been sent abroad

Former law minister Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that the second joint investigation team (JIT) to probe the June 17 Model Town violence had been constituted in accordance with law. He said those nominated in the incident’s FIR including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would appear before it when required. Sanaullah rejected Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri’s allegation that Dr Tauqeer had been sent abroad.
