A Pakistan Army soldier was killed on Thursday as Indian Border Security Force resorted to unprovoked firing in Pandu sector near Muzaffrabad of the Line of Control.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), “Pakistani troops responded befittingly to Indian firing.” the statement added.

The crossfire come after a lull in fighting between India and Pakistan after weeks of heavy shelling and gun battles across the border that killed at least 21 people on the Pakistani side.

Earlier, on November 17, a civilian and resident of Akhori village, Ghulam Muhammad, was injured in the firing as Indian forces resorted to 'unprovoked' firing.

The ongoing spate of attacks between the two countries has been the worst in years.

Please come out of kashmir and India fixation. It has only brought you deprivation and misery. Be contended with your part of kashmir. Dont make Islam a reason for fighting for kashmir . India has 200 million muslims and they have rejected two nation theory so have bangladeshi muslims . Given a chance Balochi muslims also would go the same way. Please grow up and dont talk of weapon upgradation , afterall all stalwarts like liaqat ali khan, Ayub khan , yahya khan , zia ul haq , Mr Musharaf , Benazir did not achieve anything by militarization of pakistan.

@Chachoo:

True.

Pakistan army needs upgrading. Cut down education, healthcare and invest in night vision goggles and snipers.
