Rigging allegations: Election tribunal declares PML-N MPA successful in PS-76
Jatoi had accused Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MPA Parveen Junejo -- who is currently abroad to seek treatment -- of winning the seat, PS-76, through rigging. The tribunal declared her election as void today.
Jatoi had made the rigging allegations a year ago, and had also said he had proof of the rigging. He had then claimed to approach the tribunals and the judiciary, and vowed to continue to protest till re-elections were announced.
Further, Jatoi had said that the PPP had hired criminals to beat and kidnap polling agents of opponent candidates.

i just wanna tell u guys arguing about the facts !! That liaquat ali Khan jatoi had left pml n on the very bases that it along side PPP had done what is to be known as the hidden truth which thanks to Imran Khan Shahab is coming out day by day for which LIAQUAT ali Khan sahab had been shouting for since day 1 after elections and thererfore courts have opened there eyes and have started resolving issues of this country no doubt our system is damaged ! After going to tribunal day in day out for 16 months the court finally gave its wordict which is the simple truth dhandli dhandli dhandli ! Pml n and PPP had made up this pact long before that sindh is for PPP and Punjab for pmln ! I salute Imran Khan sahab for his dharna ! And I salute Liaquat ali Khan sahab for standing up for his rights and the rights of his people ! People in Dadu voted for LIAQUAT ali Khan sahab not for ppl n !
@Zaid Noorsumar - This election tribunal only got the verdict right after PTI 90 + days dharna in islamabad. Otherwise, they could have decided these cases in 45 days not after 245 days. Plus this verdict is in the support of PMLN candidate - who were beneficiaries of rigging for large part.
@Truth_Prevails -- This does not vindicate Imran Khan's stance at all. If you believe this Election Tribunal got the verdict right, then you are admitting that the system works. The only problem with this tribunal's decision is that it is coming 16 months after the elections. However, 80% of cases in the tribunals were resolved by August 2014. Hence, it's hypocritical of PTI supporters to cry "RIGGING" every time a tribunal nullifies an election result because it goes to show that they selectively accept the decisions of the courts, i.e. accepting a result when it goes in their favour but failing to consider that PTI has barely won any petitions submitted to the tribunals. By the way, here's a fun fact: PTI only submitted petitions for 30 National Assembly seats in the tribunals. Of those, only 20 seats were won by PML-N. Thus, even if PTI was to win all those seats, they would barely dent PML-N's overwhelming majority in the parliament. But hey, facts are for losers. It's so much for fun to ride the "Go Nawaz Go" bandwagon.
So Imran Khan's stance is yet once again vindicated but Election Tribunal wouldn't do anything. Corruption!!! #GoNawazGo
