More accountability: NAB firm on weeding out graft

Chief Qamar says effective execution of this mandate necessitates professional competence of its HR continuously

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is committed to eliminating corrupt practices from the country and bringing the guilty to book, its chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said on Tuesday. His remarks came in a meeting held at the NAB headquarters. The meeting was held to review the training needs and build the capacity of NAB officers, especially that of its investigation officers and prosecutors. The head of the watchdog body said that effective execution of this mandate necessitates professional competence of its human resource continuously.
