Electric ships

The power-ship is going to provide us with expensive power for the next five years. The test of its success will be whether or not we need another contract after that. (thenews.com.pk)

Turkish power

It is truly unfortunate that a country which has been showered with so many alternatives to oil as a source of electricity has not used these resources, or is delaying them, as has been done with coal and wind, not to mention solar power, which is abundant all over the country, and not limited like the preceding two to Thar (as is coal) or the Karachi coast (as is wind). Ahmer Ali | 14 years ago | Reply Assalam-o-Allaikum Warahmatullah. The present corrupt government is trying its utmost to produce more and more expensive electricity for as long as possible years for the poor nation instead of producing power through low-cost and low-priced resources, for instance,by water, wind, atomic plants and coal to over come energy crisis and this is the most cruel, brutal and worst face of our democratic leaders through which they are making middle and lower class related common man's life more and more miserable, difficult and problematic. What shall be the future, economical, social and financial condition of poor Pakistani nation if PPPP government completes its 5-year tenure and if these acts of producing expensive electricity continue?
anwaarahmad | 14 years ago | Reply Our traders and industrialists of Karachi are hypocrites if not cruel, crying to provide undisturbed power, now crying for inflated rates. We must show some request for Turkey, who has responded promptly.
