Known for their signature process of preparing ice cream on a frozen granite stone,
Cold Stone Creamery, Lahore, has a few surprises that will pleasantly entice the senses. Apart from their freshly made 21 flavours of ice cream and a wide array of mix-ins, the entire staff bursts into songs and choreographed dances ever so often provides flavorful entertainment for guests. The entire atmosphere makes one feel like they are at a diner set in the 80’s.
In regard to the soft launch of the franchise in Lahore, CEO and President of Venus Group Adnan Asad said, “We are excited about our new collaboration and to have the opportunity to introduce the ultimate ice cream experience to the ice cream lovers of Pakistan. Cold Stone Creamery allows its customers to combine ice cream with a variety of the finest ingredients and mix-ins, such as candy, chocolate, cakes, fruits or nuts.”
The personalised experience of making your own ice cream is not only attractive to children but is also greatly enjoyed by adults. “I fell in love with Cold Stone in America and wanted to bring it to Pakistan,” says Asad. “It took about a year-and-a-half to put the entire venture together, we had to get the franchise and train the staff but it is an exciting new project where every 30 minutes or so, our staff will provide guests with some entertainment.”
Cold Stone Creamery Cafés expanded into the international market by launching its first cafe in Tokyo, Japan, in 2005. Now, it is operational in over 300 international locations and over 25 different countries worldwide, including the Philippines, Cyprus, Kuwait, Qatar, Trinidad, Nigeria, Egypt and now Pakistan.
