This or thak? : Kate Hudson at her best

Here’s a breakdown of her looks.

UMNIA SHAHID November 16, 2014

Kate Hudson was among the best dressed this November, oozing glamour in gowns from red carpet to red carpet. When the Something Borrowed star is not lighting up the big screen, or taking care of kids with her fiancé, Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy, she invests her time in looking luscious. We rarely see Hudson in long flowy numbers but this should become her new signature. Hudson stunned at this year’s Baby2Baby Gala and Lacma Art + Film Gala. Here’s a breakdown of her looks.

Lacma Art + Film Gala 2014

Hair and make-up:

Looking ethereal, the bubbly blond wore her glossy tresses down and let them flow in soft waves. The deep fuchsia-pink lip added a pop of colour to the ensemble. The subtle bronze cheeks and minimal make-up on the eyes highlighted her golden strands.

Outfit:

The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star gleamed in a Gucci Première gown. It featured nude-soft-rose silk chiffon, one-shoulder number, featuring a twisted tulle overlay on a fully embroidered skirt and bodice, which made her a head-turner as she walked the red carpet. This gown could have easily washed her out because of its nude tones but they only enhanced her dewy skin. The gathering at the waist drew attention to her most narrow part and the one-shouldered silhouette showcased her toned arms.

Accessories and shoes:

Hudson styled her look with a silver satin embroidered clutch by Ferragamo and kept the bling factor to a minimum by only sporting a Chrome Hearts jewellery bracelet. Her smile being her best accessory, she rocked the red carpet.

Hair and make-up:

Hudson had her beach blonde hair pulled back in a simple ponytail. She showed off her flawless face, sporting eyeliner, filled-in brows and subtle mauve pink glossy lipstick. She really is the girl of the moment.

Outfit:

The actor selected a warm berry-hued-magenta Stella McCartney gown as she walked down the red carpet at the bash held in her honour in Culver City, California. The dress exhibited fluid lines, which exuded sophisticated femininity, with a plunging neckline and cut-outs at the waist. A skin-tight, bright-coloured dress is not the most forgiving but she pulled it off effortlessly.

Accessories:

Sparkling with Tiffany & Co diamonds only on her ears, she completed her look with a dark-plum glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Mini Charm’ clutch. Who needs to don bling when you’re such a sizzler yourself?
