Speaking to the candidates, Salu vice-chancellor Prof Dr Parveen Shah said that this is a historic day as Salu is conducting a pre-entry test for the second time in the university's history.
She added that the three top ranking candidates would get their tuition fee waived off as an incentive to promote the sense of competition and merit.
More than 3,202 candidates appeared to compete for the 2,091 allocated seats.
