Ambassador of Brazil Alfredo Leoni hosted a reception to mark the 192nd Brazilian Independence Day on Thursday, said a press release.
Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan were the guests of honour.
Ambassadors of Russia, India, China and South Africa, and Benazir Income Support Program Chairman Senator Enver Baig also attended the function. National anthems of both Pakistan and Brazil were played, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. The embassy also arranged a live performance of Capoeira, the traditional wrestling sport of Brazil.
