He said Pakistani auto parts have the potential to grab a share in the international markets and needed government focus to utilise its potential.
Referring to the recently held auto parts show in Lahore, he said that there was a need for more such events, which would facilitate buyers in getting acquainted with locally engineered and exportable products.
Nabeel said as many as 162 autos and vending industry related companies from Germany, Taiwan, India and China set up stalls at the “Pakistan Auto Parts Show”.
He said the government’s economic policies and under-progress power producing projects would give great impetus to business and trade activities in the country.
“Installation of new industrial units would create jobs and alleviate unemployment,” he said. “We are fully capable of producing cars if required facilities are provided.”
