
Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan has directed political administrations of tribal agencies to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for complaint redressal in their respective jurisdictions.
Chairing the 17th Political Agents Conference at Governor House on Tuesday, the governor asked political agents to facilitate people at their doorsteps.
The governor and conference participants were briefed on the steps taken for the people displaced from North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber agencies. Governor Mehtab urged political administrations to take effective decisions to ensure peace and stability in Fata and the rehabilitation of IDPs.
He also directed relevant officials to improve education, health, agriculture and communication sectors in the tribal areas. He warned officials of the various political administrations of strict action if their performance is not up to the mark.
K-P Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan, FATA Additional Chief Secretary Azam Khan, officials of the FATA Secretariat and political agents were also present at the conference.
