Daureeawo says his country wishes to have cordial brotherly relations with Pakistan
PESHAWAR:
Mauritius High Commissioner Mohammad Rashad Daureeawo says his country wishes to have cordial brotherly relations with Pakistan and wants to form trade links between the two countries. “Mauritius is the gateway to Africa where a huge economic market exists for the world in general and Pakistan in particular,” Daureeawo said while addressing a gathering of industrialists and traders at a dinner hosted by the Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Vice President Adnan Jalil in the city on Saturday night. Jalil told the high commissioner the region has faced many crisis and problems due to militancy. He said Africa is facing a shortage of cement, therefore, the manufacturers in K-P could benefit by helping the continent. He informed journalists that Lucky Cement exports the material to Africa through Mauritius. He said Mauritius is considered to be a sugar manufacturing country and invited entrepreneurs to explore opportunities of trade in this regard.
