While addressing the PTI rally in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday evening, the PTI chairman asked Nawaz to resume dialogue with his party, and constitute a commission under Supreme Court to investigate the alleged electoral fraud.
“Mian sb, I offer you to form a commission under Supreme Court to investigate 2013 elections,” he said.
However, Imran said, if his allegations are proven right, the premier will have to step down.
“If the commission’s accepts fraud in elections, you [Nawaz] will have to resign and hold new elections.”
He said the commission should also include officials from Military Intelligence and Inter Services Intelligence agency, while the report should be finalised within four to six weeks.
It is worth mentioning that the prime minister in his address to the nation on August 12, 2014 requested the Supreme Court Chief Justice to form a three-member commission to probe allegations of rigging and present their findings.
Reiterating his resolve to make a new Pakistan, PTI chief said a sea of people will enter Islamabad on November 30, adding that it will be the biggest protest in the history of Islamabad.
Appointment of CEC
The PTI chief rejected the name of former Chief Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jillani as the chief election commissioner.
“We respect you but do not trust you that you will remain impartial,” he said. “You should not become the election commissioner.”
Schedule for upcoming protests
Imran also announced the schedule of his upcoming protests in the country.
He said the PTI ‘tsunami’ will reach Nankana Sahib on Wednesday, November 12, Sahiwal on Saturday, on Sunday it will be in Jhelum while a protest is also scheduled in Gujranwala on Wendesday, November 19.
“We will reach Larkana on November 21,” he added.

@Arqum:
the govt requested Army under 245 ( of course under the constitution ), but that was also an invitation into political scenario 2 ) the govt NS also requested the Army to become a facilitator between the 2 dharnas parties...was that not inviting the Army into political scenario ? so, if ISI & MI has been proposed as an investigators in election rigging case, what is wrong ? people have more faith & confidence in these 2 organization than FIA & IB ( both under direct federal govt ), who can be influenced...is this not possible with FIA & IB ?
Imran, this is not fair to ask a 'Test Match' be abandoned midway and replayed due to some bad decisions and also demanding for a 'Match Referee' of your own choice to rule in your favour. Both these demands are inadmissible in cricket as well as for re-elections.
Pardon me Mr Khan but aren't MI/ISI duo expert election riggers (recall 1965, 1986, 2002 elections), or maybe you want the panel to benefit from their vast rigging experience?
With Imran Khan's contribution where no (retired) Justice wants to be CEC, Pakistan politics have become disgusting. So stagnation results as local bodies elections cannot be held without finger printing and no CEC can be appointed to correct electoral anomalies and irregularities. Thanks to IK, the nation has reached a cul de sac.
No trust on Imran who is Master of U Turns.
@Zahid: If Imran wanted to become PM he could have done it long back when Musharraf offered him the post. Were you sleeping at that time. How is Pakistan suffering. The biggest slap to your claim is that KSE Index hit 31000 points the highest ever!! Is it not written in the Constitution for the Right to Protest? Naya KPK is in the making. But why are you linking KPK with Dharnas. Dharnas are for the rigging that was done in 2013. Please get your facts straight then talk about IK. Many thanks.
Good demand. only two institutes not under the Govt. influence are ISI and Army. N will never allow it.
Imran wants to become PM by hook or by crook but he has to realize that he is not capable to run this country. Following his dharna and Jalsa's , to me he seems to be an educated illiterate man who do not realize how Pakistan is suffering due to his agitation. Pakistan's interest should be a priority for him and not the seat of PM , this he can win after making KPK a new KPK. Only good thing he has done is that he has waken up the government from hibernation who has now started to work more efficiently then before . Bad for Imran Khan seems that he will have to wait until 2023 elections may be by then he will be history.
Our people who were raised in this culture of dynasty will never think of speaking against it. They are so used to it. When some one snatches our land, we don't go to the police, we go the Party office or find links to powerful people. When our mobile gets snatched, we hardly get an FIR. Maximum is we go to police station to just report it to the Muharrar. then we have tax of 5 Lakh rupess, we pay to the gov official 1 Lakh to get it reduced to Zero. When electricity gets expensive, instead of finding the reason, we intelligently hire professionals from Wapda Kesc to reduce the speed of the meter or even better get an underground electric line free for life. We have chosen these paths because we don't want to stand together and fight against this system. We just find other temporary ways to satisfy our selves. You and I really donot deserve a leader like Imran Khan.
ET please publish it without biasedness. Thanks.
@Bilal: Great and True Words you have Spoken!
Imran Khan also reminded the jalsa that the Asghar Khan case like the Model Town murders have been put in cold storage. Rightfully said. The govt does not have the moral courage to proceed in these cases for obvious reasons.
So many comments here follow very exactly the anti-Imran talking-points/narrative that we see in the International establishment's corporate media and twitter-universe. Hope Tribune's bona fide readers can reclaim this space soon.
@faysal: Its not the same proposal, and PMLN doesnot have the guts to call in a Judicial commission unless they have purchased the members of the commission. IK and we all know that Nawaz will fall if he accepts to make a commission. Either way Nawaz will go down. You will see!
@Zindabadi: If you don't know what Islam wants then my friend you also don't know what is better for you.
Ro Imran Ro as much you can.Try to bring change on yourself if you want to be a successful politician.
@Zindabadi: Imran Khan is a poor loser who will stop at nothing to seize power. He has shown that he is not fit to be a leader. Anyone who is willing to destroy the country by calling for unlawful acts and scaring away Chinese investment should be arrested and thrown in jail. Imran Khan has become a national embarrassment. If he can't wait until 2018 elections, let him move into into a container and live there indefintely. He needs to grow up.
Nothing else except dirty game of ego and self prestige
These sit ins caused huge loss to country. Everyone is playing his own game. No one thinks of motherland. Just imagine how in the presence of these dirty politicians like Sheeda tally, Qureshi etc change can happen. This is nothing else except matter of ego and self prestige
Mr Khsn, you may have lost count of your u-turns but if you care to remember the demand you are making was being presented to you on a silver platter in the heasy days of August but you were acting too high and might, presumptuously and vulgarly stating yourself as the prime minister. In short, you blew it and have nothing to blame but your vanity and short sightedness. The opportunities for a dignified retreat, alas, are almost closed now.
What contradictions IK have, he wants a judicial commission while he does not Trust Judiciary, whether he wants a judicial inquiry or a Military Investigation. Mr. IK please be clear while you speak out in public
IK continues to live in a different world!!! He had, at one point during his Dharna, a golden opportunity to get majority of his demands accepted, however, he was chronically stuck on NS' resignation, and thus managed to squander that opportunity. Now, that the umpire never showed up, his brother has deserted him, weather is becoming less Dharna-friendly, IK would be a fool to believe that he can dictate his terms and demands to the govt. IK would be better advised to see the reality on the ground, and find a pragmatic way to pack up and leave with some semblance of self-respect!
Biggest U Turn by Master of U Turns
Good job IK..we believe in everything u say bc u r the only sincere and honest man out there.
Stop whining Khan Sb, Continue with your dharna drama as long as you like!
It was not to end Sit In but to end this Corrupt Govt. result of proved Massive Rigging
he is real hero in pakistan
@Arqum: @Zindabadi: Imran Khan is certainly moving in circles... He blamed an MI Brigadier for his defeat in elections (reference: his Tv interview to Nadeem Malik). Imran Khan has always praised the people in Office and criticized them after their retirement. The examples are Chief Justice- Mr Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, then he praised Chief Election Commissioner- Mr Justice Fakhruddin Ebrahimje and then the Chief of Army Staff- General Kiyani http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-2-265786-PTI-now-blames-ex-COAS-General-Kayani-for-rigging Imran Khan's paid pseudo-intellectual trolls have the difficult job of justifying his every u-turn. But a large majority of Pakistanis never take him seriously. That's why his dance shows & dharnas have failed.
Imran has insulted and disgraced so many people that no one in his right mind would sit in any judicial commission to probe rigging allegations. Therefore Government should never accept his demand, instead a judicial commission should be formed to expose Script Writers and Conspirators.
Well Done IK.Whole Nation is with you.People will make stories of ISI thing but he knows this is the only institute which cant be bought by Nawaz Sharif
dear ignorants if you guys wake up form your deep slumber you may realize that it's basically the same demand but in different words..
Need any more proof that Imran Khan is wholly supported by the Establishment? Next thing he'll demand is that ISI/MI conduct the next general elections, that there should be no civilians in government, etc.
It has been proved many times that Imran is a puppet of Establishment.
Everybody know that PMLn and PPP are inept and corrupt but PTI is not good. Why? Because we worship those idols as our forefathers did.
Ro Imran Ro. Imran is an enemy of democracy. He is trying his best to harm democracy in Pakistan.
Dear sir ISI and MI are intelligence agencies not investigative agencies, hence what you ask of them they will not be able to do as their personnel are not trained in that capacity. I hope you understand this simple explanation.
"It is worth mentioning that the prime minister in his address to the nation on August 12, 2014 requested the Supreme Court Chief Justice to form a three-member commission to probe allegations of rigging and present their findings." Only the SC can do this as there is no other Constitutional way of doing it. So now the ball is in the court of SC. But IK is only trying to embarrass the Govt. as he knows nothing is going to come out of his demands. His demands are getting less severe in hopes of achieving something but now the time has passed since he frittered away the opportunity when the iron was hot and he could have been able to achieve five of his demands sans PM resignation. But he squandered away the opportunity he had and now he would be retreating, as the Govt. ignores to fulfill his wishes.
HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHA! In other words, 78 days poor PTI kids got trolled, and JKT alongwith PTIs other donors spent money for nothing.
It's clear that past elections were rigged and all political parties have accepted this fact at one point or another. It was the responsbility of all parlimentary parties to investigate rigging and hold accountable those who were responsible.. Yet, It's only Imran Khan that is standing up for what's right. Stay Strong IK. We're with you. Shame on pmln ppp and other parties who believe in Muk-makaa politics. Enough is enough!!
Lol so now after 90 days of dharna he agrees to the same proposal which Nawaz himself offered him before the start of long march? why imran always learns the hard way..
While People will consider IK's demand as an invitation for army to interfere in politics, but i think he only demanded this to ensure neutriality.
We are nation that always sees things as a 'glass half empty'. Imran Khan's schemes might change and he might deviate from his earlier demands. He might even play the dirty game for the sake of politics. However in the end he is BETTER for the country than our current leaders.
I am not a supporter of any party. I just want a BETTER Pakistan. I do not care whether or not Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted a liberal or conservative Pakistan, I want a BETTER Pakistan. I do not care how Islam wants us to run our country. I want a BETTER Pakistan.
Qaid E Azam or not. Islam or not. Imran Khan or not. Zindabad.
Stay Strong Imran Khan. We're with you. You are our only hope against these corrupt rulers that have put our great nation in the state it is now. Go nawaz go. Go zardari go.
What if Nawaz did not accept this offer......?
Love you Imran Khan. You have given another chance to Gov't to accept your reasonable demands. They will still NOT do it because they have indeed rigged the elections. Now every one can see that it is Gov't that is responsible for this deadlock and NOT PTI.
Bravo IK keep it up the nation turns its eyes on you.
How ironic that Imran Khan only believes in the integrity of M.I and I.S.I officials.
Fanatic old man - its not his fault but old age. Retirement time!!!
Object to the Qaid's picture being used to promote civil disobedience.
so he now wants the umpire to play for him
