Terror threat: Health teams to inspect sabeels

FAISALABAD: The Health Department has constituted teams to inspect water sabeels on Ashura. Health Executive District Officer (EDO) Waqar Sadiq told The Express Tribune on Sunday that intelligence agencies had warned that terrorists could poison the drinking water made available along the route of Ashura processions. “We have formed teams and directed them to check samples of water on 9th and 10th of Muharram,” he said. He said that a number of policemen would also be deputed to protect the sabeels.
