Tragic: Motorcyclist dies on road

The deceased and the injured were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment

RAWALPINDI: A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a hit-and-run incident in the Chauntra area. Khadim Hussain and his colleague Sajjad were going on a motorcycle when a speeding pick-up, driven by Tauqeer, hit them from behind. As a result, Hussain died on the spot, while Sajad sustained serious wounds. The driver fled the scene after leaving them injured on the road. The deceased and the injured were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment. The police have registered a case and further investigation is under way.
