KARACHI: Robbers looted Rs1.1 million from a private bank on Shahrae Qaideen in Ferozabad.

SP Jamshed Quarter Amir Farooqui told Daily Express, suspects came to the cash counter asking for Rs1,000 in change. When the cashier bent down to take out the cash, the suspects pulled out guns and held the staff and clients hostage. They took Rs1.1 million, all the money kept at the counter. The police took the recording from a camera installed at the bank. SHO Ferozabad Yaqoob Samon said that the same bank was robbed last year during Ramazan.

“The patterns of both robberies were very similar and manager Qaiser Abbas Zaidi was on duty both times,” said Samon. “We are investigating the case and will find the suspects very soon,” assured the SHO.
